THE PROJECT
The In-Squads project promotes soccer as a tool for social inclusion with a methodology framed within the parameters of Sport for Development, defined by international organizations such as UNICEF and the UN, as well as the EU vision of sport as a tool for social inclusion and transformation.
The In-Squads project includes 8 implementing partners, including the following leading organizations from Spain, Poland, Serbia and Denmark. Powiat Municipality, Beniaminek 03 Sports Club, University of Seville, Federación de Fútbol de la Región de Murcia, Asociación Columbares, Club for Youth Empowerment 018, Football club Nacional Nis and University of Southern Denmark.
The general objective of this project is to improve the quality of life of children between 6 and 12 years of age at risk of social exclusion, through the practice of soccer and the assimilation of the values of this sport. They will also be offered training in socioemotional, interpersonal and resilience skills, thus improving their level of integration and involvement in the communities in which they live.
The project will offer a training program for coaches and social workers with a socio-sports methodology that will complement the training they already have.
Our intention is to help to improve quality of life of a total of 1250 boys and girls.
